Friends & neighbours lend me yer ears & I'll tell you a tale.........
Several years ago while attending a seance, 5 friends were privy to an argument between the ghosts of Hank Williams, Ronnie Van Zandt, Janis Joplin, Bon Scott and someone pretending to be the King himself. The argument was heated and some inanimate objects were observed flying through the air of their own accord although all present were mindful enough to leave the guitar well alone, until Hank decided to leave the other ghosts to fight it out and strummed an other worldly version of Your Cheatin' Heart.
Now none of the 5 would be mediums were too sure of how long the argument had been ongoing or what on earth it was all about but the musical spectres quickly agreed on one thing, that these mortals were going to settle the dispute and it was decided that a new band would take the world by storm and it would consist of the finest musicians within a 500 mile radius of anyone at any one point in time... nice clause! and the band was to be called ......

To seal the deal, all the spirits shook ghostly hands and agreed that each would possess one member of this almighty band at every almighty gig. The rest is indeed history and the history speaks for itself folks. as this awesome outfit have graced some famous stages and out partied some famous faces, Across the Atlantic they flew and nearly didn't make it back as they watched one of their engines catch fire while taking off, that's another story and believe me folks, there's plenty of stories...........
