Cameron Gillespie
Cameron Gillespie is an Edinburgh based singer/songwriter. After growing up on the banks of Loch Ness and spending his high school years honing his songwriting skills in a rock band, he moved to Edinburgh to attend University and spent a lot of his skint, hungover days with only an acoustic guitar and his over-active imagination. With influences ranging from pop-pioneers Hall & Oates to the alternitave rap-funk of Rage Against The Machine, as well as everything in between traditional Scottish folk and dirty drum and bass, Cameron has an eclectic taste and a distinct sound. Catch him playing open-mic nights in the city, village halls in the highlands, or any other stadium, festival, venue, pub, party, kitchen or street corner that will have him.
